Gang sent in from you, the listeners. If that wasn’t enough, we also discuss our thoughts about the latest reboot of the Star Trek franchise. In that segment we are joined by:

What a weekend! Just as promised, we present our second Special-sode, this time recording live at MegaCon 2009 in Orlando, FL! Not only will you find our live sessions in this episode, but also Adam Sheehan from anime licensing supergroup, Funimation Entertainment, is also interviewed by Chris in a very informative segment!
We’d like to thank the following for their assistance during our time at MegaCon:
- The Gang @ Anime Sushi: Again, you guys came through for us and gave us the opportunity to do this again. Many thanks to you all, as well as arranging for additional prizes for our winners who attended. Thanks for the venue and we look forward to doing it again next year!
- Florida Oriental Trading: For supporting us and providing prizes for the Live Recording! We urge everyone in passing through the Downtown Orlando Area to give their store a visit, and as always, tell ’em Gundamn sent you!
- Lee Majors: Our friend and co-host of Shinjuku Station’s “Flip the Script”. Mad thanks to him coming out and manning the mixer when we recording on Saturday!
- Dale Rausch: The fourth Beatle! Thanks for rocking the mic with us again this year! Too bad your number one fan, The Hod, couldn’t make it. There’s always next year!
- Tanya Rausch & Jenn Barckholtz: for doing a million things for us over the weekend to help with the recording and all things in between. We couldn’t have done it without your help ladies, and your efforts were totally appreciated. ^_^
- Boiwondr & Shoji Ramuro: Our trusty microphone man and resident “Bill Whipton” came through for us again this year, and for his help we give our endless thanks. Also, more props to Boiwondr and Shoji for coming in and recording the “roast” they did for Gundam & Gundamn (found after Segment 1). Check out their video game podcast, Level Nine, which will have a new episode posted next week!
- NutsForAnimeFigures.com: for providing the VF-19 Revoltech figure for the prize giveaway! Thanks a lot for sponsoring another one of our live shows from Megacon!
- Funimation: Many thanks go to Funimation as well for providing the DVD box set of “009-1”, and more so to Adam Sheehan, for taking time out of his busy schedule to talk with us about how they’re changing the industry.
- Those who attended: Where would we be without you guys? Thanks to all who came out and participated, it was an exciting time and it was a pleasure meeting & talking with you, and we can’t wait to do it all over again with you all at the next live show!

Discussed in this episode, we explore the first three episodes of the CG-animated Gundam OVA, MS IGLOO. Then we kick-it old school with the return of our short-lists, this time about out favorite and least-liked villains and antagonists featured in the Gundam franchise over the years.
More to come but in the meantime, enjoy!

Then, without hesitation, we are joined by the Silky Johnston of Otaku, Austin, in our next Gundam Round-Up for Mobile Suit Gundam SEED! Mad thanks to the Five-Star General of the Hate-agon and he’ll be back again when we cover SEED DESTINY and STARGAZER!
In light of our appearance at this year’s MegaCon, Chris appeared on the nationally syndicated radio show, Sci-Fi Overdrive, hosted by David Durica. The episode aired earlier today (2/14/09), but if you check the website, that episode will soon be posted and you can download the episode for yourself. When it is, we’ll post a thread on this Forum and on Gundamn.net with links for your listening pleasure! Stay Tuned!
More props go to David for having Chris on and for the exposure for MAHQ.net & Gundamn! @ MAHQ! Chris sounded like a pro and I got goosebumps listening!

It was an astounding success and we give our endless thanks to all 23 participants, which is far higher than the handful we expected to rock the mic with us! In addition, both parts of the Live with Dr. Gundamn! segment sandwich our Gundam Round-up of the Motion Picture Event of 1999, G-Saviour. Listen as Chris & Neo face off with Destiny_Gundam while Soul Bro Ryu ducks for cover! ^_^
Never expected this to be a show killer, but did it ever turn into one! Mad props for the help, gang! Also, word to Doctor in particular for being our first guest from another podcast, SSAA Podcast. Although it’s slightly longer than the last ep, this latest edition of Gundamn! @ MAHQ is lighter on segments but jammed-packed with discussion! Kicking off the first segment, we rap about the final television series helmed by Yoshiyuki Tomino – Turn A Gundam. Afterwards, inspired by an article submitted by Flame-X, we explore an interview with Gundam 00 director Seiji Mizushima, detailing how recent, passionate opinions of dislike about the series online have affected the staff. The conversation continues into the effects premature, unproven, and negative comments and have upon the development of currently airing series. Mad props to Flame-X for bringing this to our attention!
Also for those that don’t know:
For your listening pleasure, episode 26 of Gundamn! was released several days ago. Also, I’m happy to announce what will hopefully be the first of several live call-in sessions on the show. It will take place this Sunday, January 18th at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. If you didn’t join us for the first call-in, get a mic/headset, download and install Skype, and add the user “Shinjuku-Station” to your friends list. Like the last time, the call-in will be an open forum, so anything goes as far as topics and questions.
Hope you can join us and enjoy this episode! Thanks for listening,

This might be old news for some that jumped on iTunes today, but Ep. 25 is finally here. In this episode, the impossible has come to pass, with the (*ahem*) of Ep. 22 – 25 of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 season 1! Then we tackle the underdog of Gundam television series in our long-awaited round-up of After War Gundam X. Finally, the gloves come off as we break into a conversation about what’s more important in an Mecha Series: The Mechs themselves or the Characters that revolve around them.
